Therapy Seekers
Group therapy offers a different kind of support than therapy: the additional benefit of peer support from others who have similar lived experience.
New cohorts for the “Living With Chronic Illness” support groups will open in April and May 2025. There will be a group for those ages 18 to 25, 25 to 39, 40 to 59, and 60+. Each of these groups will include 5-6 adults who are living with chronic medical conditions.
Modalities
Therapy approaches for this group include peer support, grief work, mind-body connection, and strength-based.
Scheduling
Group times will vary. Check back soon for more information or e-mail to be sent updates once details are available.
It is asked for group members to plan on attending all group sessions unless there are urgent or emergent circumstances that prevent this.
Each group member will be allowed a one time waiver of the cancellation fee outside of urgent/emergent circumstances.
Investment
60-minute group session:
Sliding Scale $15; 35; $55*
Most commercial Optum and Point 32 plans accepted in MA; Most BCBS Anthem and Point 32 plans accepted in NH; Super-bills offered.
*Payment is based on The Green Bottle Sliding Scale. Please refer to the image below. Tier 3 reflects a payment of $55; Tier 2 reflects a payment of $35; Tier 1 reflects a payment of $15. Limited Tier 1 spots available per group.
